一、語(yǔ)言知識(shí)

要求考生掌握并能運(yùn)用英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)音、詞匯、語(yǔ)法基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)以及所學(xué)功能意念和話題,要求詞匯量為3500左右。

二、語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用

(一)要求考生能讀懂書(shū)、報(bào)、雜志中關(guān)于一般性話題的簡(jiǎn)短文段以及公告、說(shuō)明、廣告等,并能從中獲取相關(guān)信息。要求:

(1)理解主旨和要義;

(2)理解文中具體信息;

(3)根據(jù)上下文推斷生詞的詞義;

(4)作出判斷和推理;

(5)理解文章的基本結(jié)構(gòu);

(6)理解作者的意圖、觀點(diǎn)和態(tài)度。

二、閱讀理解(每小題2分,共10分)

“Cool” is a word with many meanings. Its old meaning is used to express a temperature(溫度) that is a little bit cold. As the world has changed, the word has had many different meanings.

“Cool” can be used to express feelings of interest in almost anything.

When you see a famous car in the street, maybe you’ll say, “It’s cool.” You may think “he’s so cool” when you see your favorite footballer.

We all maximize(擴(kuò)大) the meaning of “cool”. You can use it instead of many words such as “new” or “surprising”. Here’s an interesting story we can use to show the way how the word is used.
