O：It was so fantastic I didn’t really want to come home.

N：Did you happen to meet someone?

O：How did you know?

N：You always act like this when you’ve fallen in love. Who is he? How did you meet?

你每次談戀愛都像現(xiàn)在這樣。他是誰?你們怎么認識的?

O：His name is Tony and we met my first night in Pathos. He works with my sister who lives there.

他叫托尼，是我在佩瑟斯的頭一個晚上認識的。我姐姐住在那兒，他是我姐姐的同事。

N：Was it love at first sight?

你們倆是一見鐘情嗎?

O：Not really. I wasn’t looking for a holiday romance, but my sister told me that she had promised him that she’d set him up on blind date with me. I didn’t think I’d have anything to lose, so I went.

不算是。我本來并沒有打算尋求一段假期艷遇。但是我姐姐說她以前答應過他，要介紹我們約個會認識一下彼此。我覺得自己也不會有什么損失，就去了。

O：Luckily, his company has a position available here, so he’s going to see if he can get relocated.

幸運的是他們公司在咱們這有個職位空缺。如果他們能夠重新調(diào)配一下人手的話，他就能來看我了。

N：It sounds like he is madly in love with you. Are you ready for such a serious relationship?

聽起來他似乎已經(jīng)瘋狂地愛上你了。你對這份感情是認真的嗎?

O：Well, I’m not really a spring chicken anymore. We don’t know what will happen.
