根據(jù)教育部的有關(guān)要求和“上海紐約大學(xué)2014年招生方案（中國學(xué)生）”：上海紐約大學(xué)主要在“校園日活動(dòng)”基礎(chǔ)上，結(jié)合高考、高中學(xué)業(yè)水平考試、綜合素質(zhì)評(píng)價(jià)等，通過高校招生綜合評(píng)價(jià)體系錄取學(xué)生。

一、招生對(duì)象

1.具有2014年普通高校招生統(tǒng)一考試報(bào)名資格，高中學(xué)業(yè)水平考試成績達(dá)2A1B或以上的高中畢業(yè)生；

2.高考成績文科位列廣東省前500名、理科位列前1000名；

3.具有強(qiáng)烈的求知欲以及開拓創(chuàng)新精神、熱愛嘗試新事物、擁有“世界公民”素質(zhì)的學(xué)生。

二、選拔模式與程序

上海紐約大學(xué)采用高考基礎(chǔ)上的招生綜合評(píng)價(jià)錄取辦法，學(xué)生自愿申請(qǐng)、專家材料審核和面試、綜合評(píng)價(jià)、在本科第一批次前擇優(yōu)錄取。

（一）申請(qǐng)報(bào)名

申請(qǐng)學(xué)生請(qǐng)?jiān)?014年6月18日前將有關(guān)材料以電子郵件形式發(fā)送至上海紐約大學(xué)招生辦（shanghai.admissins@nyu.edu），郵件名為：廣東省**同學(xué)申請(qǐng)，申請(qǐng)材料作為附件發(fā)送。具體申請(qǐng)材料要求如下：

1.上海紐約大學(xué)申請(qǐng)表（請(qǐng)見附件）；

2.高中一年級(jí)至三年級(jí)學(xué)習(xí)成績（須注明每科滿分分?jǐn)?shù)）、年級(jí)排名，需有學(xué)校公章（jpg或PDF文件）；

3.廣東省高中學(xué)業(yè)水平考試成績單（jpg或PDF文件）；

4.主要獲獎(jiǎng)證書和其他注明特長和優(yōu)勢(shì)的材料（非必須）（jpg或PDF文件）；

5.兩篇英語短文，具體要求如下：

A：Personal Essay

The essay demonstrates your ability to write clearly and concisely on a selected topic and helps you distinguish yourself in your own voice. What do you want the readers of your application to know about you apart from courses, grades, and test scores? Choose the option that best helps you answer that question and write an essay of no more than 650 words, using the prompt to inspire and structure your response. Remembers: 650 words is your limit, not your goal. Use the full range if you need it, but don’t feel obligated to do so. (The application won’t accept a response shorter than 250 words.)

Ÿ Some students have a background or story that is so central to their identity that they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story.

Ÿ Recount an incident or time when you experienced failure. How did it affect you, and what lessons did you learn?

Ÿ Reflect on a time when you challenged a belief or idea. What prompted you to act? Would you made the same decision again?

Ÿ Describe a place or environment where you are perfectly content. What do you do or experience there, and why is it meaningful to you?

Ÿ Discuss an accomplishment or event, formal or informal, which marked your transition from childhood to adulthood within your culture, community, or family.

Please write an essay (250-650 words) on the topic selected.

In evaluating your candidacy for admission, we are interested in making the best match possible with all that NYU has to offer. As a result, we are curious to learn about your academic and personal interests and how those interests relate to what we offer in the ideal capitals of the world in which NYU campuses are located. Please address, in your essay response (250-500 words), the following:

1. Among the three campuses (New York, Abu Dhabi, and Shanghai) within the global network of NYU, why would you like to choose Shanghai? And where you would like to study away while you are a student here ? and why?

2. Whether you are undecided or you have a definitive plan of study in mind, what are your academic interests and how do you plan to explore them at NYU Shanghai?

You may have one or many campuses, schools, colleges, programs, and/or areas of interest, so please elaborate on your interests.

（二）專家材料審核和面試

申請(qǐng)截止日后，上海紐約大學(xué)將組織專家對(duì)學(xué)生申請(qǐng)材料進(jìn)行審核。對(duì)于申請(qǐng)材料審核通過，且高考成績達(dá)到上海紐約大學(xué)要求（文科位列廣東省前500名、理科位列前1000名）的學(xué)生，上海紐約大學(xué)將安排專家進(jìn)行全英語面試，面試時(shí)間初定6月26日，具體地點(diǎn)和時(shí)間另行通知。

（三）招生專業(yè)及志愿填報(bào)

面試合格的學(xué)生，必須在高考志愿表的“自主選拔”的綜合評(píng)價(jià)欄中填報(bào)我校志愿，未被我校錄取的考生不影響第一批次投檔的錄取。

我校目前開設(shè)有12個(gè)本科專業(yè)，學(xué)生進(jìn)校后前兩年進(jìn)行通識(shí)教育，第二學(xué)年結(jié)束時(shí)自由選擇專業(yè)。 12個(gè)本科專業(yè)為：商業(yè)和金融、經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)、生物科學(xué)、神經(jīng)科學(xué)、物理學(xué)、化學(xué)、電子工程、計(jì)算機(jī)科學(xué)、計(jì)算機(jī)工程、互動(dòng)創(chuàng)意與技術(shù)、數(shù)學(xué)、綜合人文。

2014年廣東省擬招生人數(shù)為：文科1名、理科1名。（經(jīng)教育部批準(zhǔn)，我校不做分省計(jì)劃，具體錄取人數(shù)根據(jù)綜合評(píng)價(jià)結(jié)果確定。）

（四）錄取辦法

7月上旬，廣東省招生辦公室進(jìn)行提前批自主選拔招生錄取批次投檔。我校根據(jù)高考基礎(chǔ)上的綜合評(píng)價(jià)錄取標(biāo)準(zhǔn)擇優(yōu)確定擬錄取名單，經(jīng)廣東省招生辦公室審核通過，辦理統(tǒng)招正式錄取手續(xù)。錄取名單一旦確定，我校將不再受理錄取考生的退檔申請(qǐng)。

三、錄取原則：

由我校中美雙方組成的招生團(tuán)隊(duì)，根據(jù)申請(qǐng)學(xué)生的申請(qǐng)材料、高考成績、面試評(píng)價(jià)等進(jìn)行綜合評(píng)價(jià)擇優(yōu)錄取。
