be out of the way就是「讓路，謄出地方」。若你要表達(dá)「擋路」則是be in the way。另外Get out of my way!則是不客氣地表達(dá)「滾開!」的意思。

even up the odds
odds是「勝算，成功的可能性」，通常用在賭博或是比賽的場(chǎng)合。你可以說The odds are high. 來表示「勝算高」。相對(duì)的，要說勝算「低」只要將high改成low即可。even 在這當(dāng)作動(dòng)詞使用，是「使相等」的意思，因而even up the odds則可解釋為「扳回劣勢(shì)」。
